Engagement Party/Rehearsal Dinner
The giddiness begins at the engagement party. At Kimpton Armory Hotel, you can choose between our rooftop bar, Sky Shed —where no fewer than four mountain ranges compete for your viewing pleasure—and our basement whiskey bar, Tune Up. This underground lounge also makes a great spot for a rehearsal dinner, where your wedding party is invited to raise a glass and share a story.
Ceremony
The moment you commit yourselves to one another is tender and thrilling at the same time. Kimpton Armory Hotel offers you a pair of very different venues to exchange your vows. Accommodating up to 400 guests, Armory Music Hall is a thoughtfully restored landmark complete with a second-floor mezzanine, built-in bar and the Armory's original stage. For smaller ceremonies, our all-season Sky Shed transforms into a panoramic palace at your wish.
Wedding Reception
The Armory Music Hall pulses with history in the heart of the hotel. Built in 1941 to house the Bozeman National Guard units of Montana's 163rd infantry, this expansive space was recently restored to capture the glamour of the past, yet with contemporary conveniences like a state-of-the-art sound system. Dance to a live band performing on the building's original stage. Dine on savory dishes created just for your event. Custom cocktails plus select wine and beer will keep your crowd happy as you celebrate the best day of your new life together.
After Party
Wedding receptions don't always wind down at the same pace for every guest. That's where Tune Up comes in. Keep the festivities going at our basement bar, where we pour whiskeys and beers from around the world. If snacks are in order, we can field requests like our famous kettle chips and onion dip, or a divine meat and cheese board stocked with daily selections. Your guests will go back to their hotel rooms tired yet fully content.
Bridal Luncheon/Shower
The build-up to the Big Day is just about as joyous as the day itself. Kimpton Armory Hotel has two spaces awash with natural light and beautifully appointed to host bridal luncheons and bridal showers. Our True North venue is tucked into the northwest corner of our second-floor, offering a private pre-function space. Also on the second floor is Etha, featuring a sliding glass wall and the Armory Music Hall as a backdrop. Both spaces include movable soft seating and 85-inch flat-screen TVs — ideal for slideshows of the bride and groom.
Farewell Brunch
Does the weekend really have to end? We get that question all the time. Our answer: Not until the last Bloody Mary has been dispatched. Gather your group one last time at Sky Shed, our glass-enclosed rooftop bar where we'll serve a final feast for your palate — and your eyes. Although panoramic mountain vistas are a given, the culinary delights are custom-created just for you. Reason enough to linger just a bit longer.
